About Me

Growing up on the farm Travis saw first hand what the genre of country music was all about. Witnessing hard work, struggle, pain, love, loss, family, and faith all helped shape him into the artist he is today.  Like his heroes that have come before him, Travis seeks honesty and sincerity in his music. His songs are like stories being passed down from one generation to another. His voice and style is raw and unique, but you’ll swear you’ve heard him before in some smokey honky tonk on a Saturday night. Through his Missouri raising and Nashville teaching Travis is doing his damndest to keep the tradition of country music alive.

Building on the momentum, 2024 looks to be a big year for Travis. With two new projects on the horizon, the first of which is a brand new EP Titled, Tales From The Old West Volume I. With this EP Travis wanted to write actual cowboy songs. There has always been something romantic about the old west and the stories that came from it. The first single off the EP is titled; “Utah.” The beauty of this song is that it’s told from a first person narrative, you feel like a fly on the wall. It’s a Bonnie and Clyde tale about two young lovers fighting for a life they want, turning to a life of crime to achieve it, because they won’t let anything stand in the way of their love.  Travis has worked with hit Producer, John Pedigo, out of Modern Electric in Dallas, Texas, Stephen Leiweke out of Yackland Studios in Nashville, Tennessee on previous projects, but this time around Travis wanted to wear the producer's hat. Using knowledge he has gained from previous experiences, Travis embraced the challenge and couldn’t be happier with how this project came together. Sonically, this is a deviation from Travis’s previous works. This is more of a stripped down Country & Western storytelling retreat. Tales From The Old West was recorded at Centro Cellar Studios, engineered and mixed by William Reeves, Mastered by Benny Quinn out of Nashville. The Full EP drops on June 21st.

Travis doesn’t care for fame and fortune. At the end of the day it all comes down to the song. Always searching for that feeling a song gives when you have to play it over and over again with the windows rolled down while driving on a country road. A song that connects on such a level that it penetrates the soul. That’s country music. A story about light and dark, and a life lived in between. Travis only promises one thing with his music, truth. The way country music should be.
